The Herman Pizzeria and Inn is a family business whose history goes back a long way. The building dates back to the time when the Vienna–Trieste railway line was being built. Then it was a hotel named Južna železnica (“The South Railway Hotel”), where even the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne Franz Ferdinand stayed. The guesthouse is located on the Ljubljana–Rijeka regional road in Pivka, near the railway station.

The restaurant can accommodate 70 guests, offering more than 40 types of pizza from the brick oven, a variety of dishes that you can order individually from our menu, while 7 types of hot snacks are prepared every day, as well as lunches on weekends.

In addition to culinary delights, guests can also stay overnight. The capacity of the guest house is 9 rooms (2 single rooms, a family room for 4 persons, 2 double rooms with double beds, 3 double rooms and 1 room for 3 persons). All rooms are air-conditioned, with free wifi, a fridge, TV and bathroom. Some rooms have a smaller French balcony, while there is also a terrace for smokers or for resting with a glass of wine.
